Supplied Air Respirators (SCBA)

This air mask provides uniquely versatile protection, transforming quickly from a CBRN self-contained breathing apparatus to either an air-purifying respirator (APR) or a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR). Easily goes from first response and rescue to scene management and remediation. This mask features a one-way inhalation check valve, wide-view lens with Kevlar SpeeD-ON® head harness and high-performance mechanical diaphragm. As the first and only of its kind, it provides emergency responders with the maximum level of protection in CBRN environments.

Choose from a complete line of air cylinders, including lightweight carbon, economical aluminum or affordable composite. Choose from eight different cylinders, each designed especially for MSA Air Masks. Available in high and low pressure with air supply durations of 30, 45 and 60 minutes. Optional custom logos available.

The G1 Facepiece was designed without electronic components, to minimize weight, reduce your stress and fatigue and improve your overall performance level. This design also means that there are no electronic components on the outside of the facepiece that may result in snag and entanglement hazards. What’s more, by eliminating costly electronic components, the price is reduced substantially, allowing personal-issue facepieces to be a cost effective measure. As an added bonus, the facepiece is equipped with cross-contamination prevention to reduce the spread of illness when facepieces are shared. But MSA didn’t stop there. The MSA G1 SCBA is also equipped with a speaking diaphragm to increase speech clarity while off air. The new G1 Facepiece is not only lightweight and compact with overall low profile design, it’s comfortable and built to last. Taking the preferred design features of the Ultra Elite Facepiece, including wide field of view and comfortable, robust seal geometry, we’ve taken the MSA G1 SCBA to the next level with an open port to provide low breathing resistance, both on and off air. Combining state-of-the-art features with MSA's precision engineering, the Ultra Elite full-face mask is our top model in this range. The ergonomic design makes this a comfortable unit, while the 5-point harness makes it easy to put it on or take it off. The distortion-free coated lens provides a wide field of vision, while the unique airflow prevents lens misting. The face blank has a single-sealing flange and comes in rubber or silicone, while the speech diaphragm makes communication easy to discern. The model has more than 40 different versions, making it the perfect mask for many different applications.

Ideal for extreme conditions, it features a web management system that also integrates a regulator holder. One belt fits all (up to 310 pounds, including equipment).

Clearly and easily see air cylinder content when wearing an MSA Ultra Elite Facepiece. This display system includes a transmitter assembly that securely mounts to the SCBA shoulder gauge pressure hose. Sends a digitally encoded signal to the facepiece-mounted receiver. Displays cylinder contents in one-quarter increments. Features 7 LED light patterns.

This motion-sensitive device detects firefighter motion—without responding to false alarms. Ideal for rigorous fire service demands, this modular system is easy to maintain, too. An optional heat sensor sends an alert when hazardous heat levels are looming. Buddy light improves wearer visibility.

Introducing the latest addition to the G1 Series, the G1 PremAire Cadet Escape.  This combination supplied air respirator with escape cylinder offers a streamlined, lightweight design and incorporates one of the most technologically advanced, lightest and lowest profile facepieces on the market today.

Get air on demand with this high-performance, Type C, supplied-air respirator. Mask-mounted regulator responds quickly to changing breathing requirements. Maintains a slight positive pressure to prevent contaminants from invading the face piece. Ideal for chemical and petrochemical processing, municipal utilities, and asbestos and lead paint abatement, as well as non-IDLH environments such as pharmaceutical applications and hazardous materials clean up. Available as a basic supplied air device or as a combination air-line/air-purifying respirator.

This full-face, pressure-demand, Type-C supplied-air respirator features a patented waist-mounted manifold for incredible flexibility. Can be converted from a supplied-air device to an air-purifying system. Dual-supply option lets users connect from one pressurized continuous air source to another—without losing continuity of airflow. The vortex tube option delivers whole-body temperature control for added comfort.

This combination supplied-air respirator with SCBA is designed especially for escape. Versatile, comfortable and affordable, it features a single-assembly first-stage regulator and cylinder valve. Small in size and profile, this one is ideal for working in tight places.

This supplied-air respirator provides respiratory and upper body protection for personnel engaged in abrasive blasting. Includes hood, face piece with lens housing, breathing tube, lens cartridge, flow-control device, air-supply hose, and support belts. Ideal for a range of applications including blasting operations.

These accessories help ensure proper air quality and deliverability when used with MSA constant flow airline systems. Filters remove 99% (minimum) of >0.3 micron particulate for up to 1000 hours of use. Air supply hoses deliver respirable air from 8 to 5 feet in temperatures from -25ºF to 212ºF (depending on type). And cylinder cascade systems deliver single-source air to one or more workers.

These assemblies connect air supply hoses to the manifold and air source. Locking-type quick disconnects are available to interconnect lengths of air supply hose. With locking quick-disconnects, use up to 12 sections of hose to make up the maximum length.

These self-contained devices help personnel escape dangerous and deadly atmospheres, including those with high concentrations of toxic gases or vapors or oxygen deficiency. Low profile, lightweight, and easy to carry, these escape respirators feature one-control operation for a swift exit.
